What Makes a Fulfilled Life? And How can Anyone get One?

Discover our Game-Changing Global Research on Life Satisfaction

Life at Its Best.
Decoding Human Paths to Maximized Good Times (MGT).

At the core of everything humans do and have ever done - from the laughter we share to the societies and organizations we build to the conflicts we fight - lies one universal quest that leads us through peaks of joy and valleys of sorrow. Deeply embedded in human nature, we unite, separate, create, or destroy, all in the hope that it will drives toward one goal: Maximized Good Times (MGT) - a state in which pleasant experiences are not just temporary, but a sustained reality with high intensity and extensive duration.

While the pursuit of Maximizing our Good Times has been an unconscious driver for most of human history, today, we are at the forefront of making it the cornerstone of a global initiative to consciously and intentionally act strategically toward it. Through cross-cultural research and practical application, we have made it our mission to unravel the variables that elevate the human experience sustainably to its peak.

What helps us to Maximize Good Times?

Focusing on a single objective simplifies actions into two categories:

  • Those helping achieve it

  • Those hindering achieve it

The objective of wanting Good Times now and in the future adds time as another dimension. This means we have four categories where we can act to reach lifelong MGT, as shown in Schnepf’s Four Playgrounds™ diagram.

Guess What is Helpful.
Know What is Helpful.

On our way to MGT, our friends, folk wisdom, and marketing present us with a flood of solutions. But do they really work? To know the answer rather than rely on confidently stated claims, we must be able to measure their effect. Unfortunately, no metric measures Good Times—until now.

With the Good Time Ratio (GTR) as a novel metric, we can measure the progress toward Maximized Good Times of individuals and collectives. This allows us to make informed, data-based decisions and categorize ‘solutions’ in Schnepf’s Four Playgrounds™.

Breaking Walls. Expanding Horizons.

How we approach our Good Time Journey is largely influenced by our environment. Basing our paths within the walls of our time and culture unavoidably blinds us to other paths—including those that might enhance our GTR more effectively, joyfully, and sustainably.

To break through these walls, the GTR metric is based on the very essence of what makes us human.

This gives room to consider unique approaches to life while being comparable enough to adopt best practices from each other and develop solutions that go beyond our current perspectives. To ensure the GTR metric works cross-culturally, we conduct a global exploration of human satisfaction.

Bridging Fields.
Total Perspective.

As Maximizing Good Times is the quintessential driver of human behavior, its traces can be found in every aspect of human existence. For this reason, dialogue with experts from different disciplines is essential to capture a holistic picture. This exchange is crucial for refining the GTR metric for its universal applicability.

It further enables us to understand the interrelationships between the factors that influence the GTR of individuals and collectives and maps spillover effects and contextual alternations.

100% Good Time.
Can we reach MGT?

For most of human history, this seemed a myth we fell victim to. But for the first time in our history, we have the possibility of equipping every human with an assistant who can provide personalized suggestions in real time tailored to this objective.

By leveraging AI's power, we can outline the most effective paths to enhancing life satisfaction, considering each person's unique circumstances and preferences.

Imagine a system for everyone to access insights and guidance to navigate their unique Good Time Journey.

Today, we live at a pivotal point in history when the goal of Maximizing Good Times becomes a possibility and a practical reality for all.
