Chris W. Schnepf’s
Good Time Journey
I’ve always been driven by curiosity and a passion for exploration, constantly on a journey of discovery and growth. But when I achieved early success in business and other praised areas of life, I felt increasingly empty to the point where thoughts of not being alive seemed more appealing than continuing down those paths. I began to question the paths society promoted and knew something had to change.
I set out on a quest that took me through more than 25 countries. I observed and immersed myself in different lifestyles, studied cultural wisdom, and connected with anyone who challenged my understanding of how to live—from CEOs to farmers, artists to monks, and elders to children—all in search of what truly makes life worth living.
On this journey, I discovered ways of living that challenged the traditional approaches I grew up with and the norms I saw in the business world—ways that were noticeably more rewarding to the people living them. However, I realized these insights were often hard to apply within the existing structures that guide most people’s lives. That’s when my calling became clear: to build a bridge for people to implement what's in favor of a life they love to live
I understood this is more than just a matter of individual paths and realized the importance of uniting people around a common goal. I distilled this goal into the simple yet profound essence that drives everyone’s actions: ‘Maximizing Good Times.’
Knowing that measurable outcomes drive our modern world led me to pursue a Ph.D. in Sociology to study human development within societies and then create the Good Time Ratio (GTR) metric—a tool designed to make progress toward Maximized Good Times visible across different cultures and to clarify how effective our efforts are in this universal quest.
My vision is simple:
Seeing people live lives they consciously love to live in environments that support them in doing so.
If this sounds like an environment you’d love to be a part of, then reach out to me and join me on this journey to make Good Times a priority in our efforts—for yourself, for everyone, everywhere.
