Maximizing Good Times. Together.
Meet the Faces and Forces Behind the Mission to Make Good Times a Priority.
About Christian W. Schnepf
Christian W Schnepf is a sociologist, human behaviour expert, and Good Time Strategist dedicated to making the conscious pursuit of Good Times the #1 priority in human life. He has been featured on TED, in China Daily, and on Shanghai’s Broadway screens via China Central Television. Global performers who share stages with Will Smith, meet with Barack Obama, and lead international multi-million-dollar businesses consult him on their most complex challenges in human development.
Christian is the creator of the Good Time philosophy, the founder of GoodTime.app, and the architect of groundbreaking life-navigation frameworks, including the Good Time Ratio (GTR), the Five Universal Life Areas, and the Four Playgrounds—tools designed to systematically upgrade life quality, align priorities, and design better choices.
His work is rooted in years of cross-cultural exploration and a Ph.D.-level research project at Shanghai University, and bridges scientific insight with real-world transformation. By blending philosophy, data-driven design, systems thinking, and soul, he delivers practical solutions to individuals, organizations, and universities worldwide, challenging the deepest beliefs of people about how life works.
At the heart of it all lies a single radical question:
“How can life be made truly lovable—systematically, repeatably, and for everyone?”
He found that helping to answer this question is the most meaningful way to spend his lifetime.
Christian W’s Good Time Journey (so far)
For years, I chased the kind of success society celebrates: status, appearance, and business growth. But when I achieved them in my early 20s, I felt increasingly depressed, and I began to question:
Where should this all lead?
As I lived my own journey and listened to others, I saw that wherever someone was in life, it could be traced back to patterns and turning points. That convinced me the factors behind Good Times must be distillable, and therefore both predictable and designable.
But one key problem remained: how can we know what actually works?
A good life still could not be measured in a clear, unbiased way. So I returned to university and, through a sociological Ph.D., developed the Good Time Ratio (GTR). It is a cross-cultural metric that quantifies life quality and reveals the real impact of our actions.
I believed there must be a different way of living life, and I left my home country to search for it. I traveled through over 25 countries to learn from retired CEOs, monks, farmers, artists, elders, and even children and immersing myself in different ways of living.
Everyone said different things, but I noticed two patterns:
1. Everyone had the desire to maximize their Good Times.
2. No one had figured out how to sustain them consistently.
Not even those who seemed the most “successful.”
Obsessed with this idea, I began testing practices, studying philosophies, and exploring ways of living that challenged everything I thought I knew. I wasn’t just learning. I was experimenting with life itself.
What began as a personal quest started to resonate with others. GTR became a conversation starter across fields. I was invited to speak at TEDx and secured investment to found GoodTime and launch the GoodTime app that helps people design lives that systematically increase their Good Times. This mission is growing, and more people are joining every day.
